Stanford beats Boise State, 96-76, and in the process ties the CBI record for most points in a game (Bradley last year scored 96 in their semifinal with at UVa).
Oregon State survives a scare to beat Houston 49-45.
Check out the tournament website tomorrow for matchups in the quarterfinal rounds... dates, times and which two games will be on HDNet.

How does a team with a losing record get to host two games at home against teams with 20+ wins. This "tournament" is a JOKE! OS lost their last four games before they paid to play.
Have to agree with Anonymous on this one. How in the world could the College of Charleston be on the road every game, when they have the best record in the tournament? Troy St is not rated higher than CofC, and neither is Richmond. And from the sound of the radio broadcast, there were about 9 people in Troy last week. We would have filled the place in Charleston.
obviously it's about the dollars and ability to host. If it truly does cost around $60K to host then it becomes prohibitive for some schools to participate. Do I as an Oregon State fan have to feel bad about being in this tournament? Absolutely not! I am happy to continue the season and extend my joy of watching college basketball! Are other teams more worthy of being in this tournament? Of course, but, remember that this is an invitational tournament. I prefer to think of it on par with a pre-season tournament for next year! Remember, the Gazelle group is a "sports marketing" entity! Enjoy the games and if you prefer the "big dance" then win more games or your conference or your season ending tournament!
It's official. There is literally not one message board/blog that concerns the Beavers that some duck fan won't find and ruin with their flaming BS.
Sure, OSU doesn't have the shiney records that some of these mid-major teams do, but we also play in a MUCH tougher conference. And besides, like noted above, hosting in the CBI doesn't really have anything to do with your record. It is what it is, and regardless of what anyone thinks, OSU has already had some of the biggest fan turn-outs of anyone in the tourny. Shove off duck troll!
GO BEAVS!!
